Every explainer on Hmmnm is written to be accurate, sourced, and useful under exam pressure. This page explains how.
How we research
Explainers are built from primary and authoritative sources — official notifications, statutes, treaties, budget and census documents, standard textbooks and established reference works — and cross-checked against at least one independent secondary source before publication. Where a fact is contested or an estimate, the article says so explicitly.
Review and updates
Current-affairs explainers are reviewed when the underlying events develop, and every series page carries its publication and update dates. Exam-pattern or syllabus explainers are re-checked against the latest official notification each cycle.
Corrections
Mistakes get fixed, visibly. If you find an error, tell us; substantive corrections are made in the article with the change noted, not silently edited.
Independence
Hmmnm is free to read, with no signup walls. Content is not commissioned or paid for by any coaching institute, publisher or advertiser, and advertising never influences what we cover or how we grade anything.
Who writes it
The Hmmnm editorial team writes and maintains every series. Article bylines and the author box on each page identify the responsible editor.
